Home Farm Logs tend to encourage our customers to buy hardwood logs rather than softwood logs because hardwood is denser and has a higher heat content or calorific value.  

Typically, the heat content of hardwood logs is twice the volume of softwood logs and despite hardwood being more expensive, it is generally a cheaper fuel overall as it burns more slowly. 

All of our wood products are certified by Woodsure, the UK's only woodfuel certification scheme. Delivery is free to households in Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire.
